As part of a 2 year residency program, Dashboard is taking the exciting work of 5 Atlanta artists to different American cities, mounting shows that challenge both the growth of those artists and challenge the community they visit. The first show is at Press Street Gallery in New Orleans. I was asked to capture the mounting of the show and the performances of the opening evening, as well as capture the beauty of the residents of the amazing neighborhoods of New Orleans, including Bywater, where the gallery is part of a vanguard leading that neighborhood's resurgence, and Central City, where I was able to capture the first second line parade of 2015.
