Gap asked me and 5 other Atlanta photographers to capture images as a part of their #DressNormal campaign. I picked ten of my talented and beautiful Atlanta friends, each of who were styled with Gap clothes that matched their life and personality. Then I shot them around the city. The idea was to break past typical fashion shoots and capture a more genuine look at life in the city. So I eschewed a traditional fashion approach and instead had my subjects relax and go about their day while I captured off the cuff shots around them, staying true to my and their styles. It's an approach that blended with Gap's goals perfectly. Final images were collected into an Atlanta lookbook, displayed in a pop-up retail #DressNormal shop in the Virginia Highland neighborhood of Atlanta, and used across Gap's national and regional social media.
